Did you know that new mothers are 300% more likely to suffer from depression than at any other time in their life? Postnatal depression can happen to anyone but we know that your risk of suffering is reduced when you receive the right support in the early days of life with your new baby.
Nationally, the Big Push is aiming to raise £40,000 towards training for 100 postnatal leaders who will reach 82,000 new mums every year, making the early years of parenthood a positive experience for parents everywhere.
We hope that Biggleswade, Sandy and District NCT branch can help to make a difference by contributing to this fundraising through our own Big Push Event.
The Big Push is a sponsored walk taking place on Saturday 26 May 2012.
Meet at 10:30am at Danish Camp, Willington.
A 3 mile walk followed by lunch.
Entry: £5 per participant, £8 per family, under 12s free.
We will walk, toddle, scoot, sling and push buggies together on a circular route starting and finishing at Danish Camp, where we will enjoy a well-earned lunch after the walk.

With your help we raised nearly £150 for the branch.
A big thank you to everyone who came, and to those who helped on the day.
